Haemolacria

Haemolacria is a physical condition that causes a person to produce tears that are composed of blood. This rare phenomenon is rare, and has no specific cause but is more likely for fertile women to get it and seems to be induced by hormones.

Haemolacria can also be a symptom of other diseases. For example, it can mean a tumor in the lacrimal apparatus, or other factors such as bacterial conjunctivitis.
